And it's Wednesday again!! You know what that means!!
Last Wednesday I showed you China Glaze 108 Degrees from the Island Escape collection, and mentioned that I had Misa Summer love which was very close to it, so today I will show you the Misa, and a little comparison, and you can tell me what you think.
This is a red jelly with dense pink shimmer in it. It was quite sheer, so I had to do 3 coats, and after that still had visible nail line, but you know me, I never go beyond 3 coats I am just too lazy.
It was really liquid, so when I put on my top coat it kind of shrinked at the tip, so it looks like I have tip wear, but I don't.
I found that the Misa was a bit more sheer than the CG, but the final look is almost the same from my point of view. Here are the photos:

See the shrinkage at the tips? |
I think they look pretty similar. This is 3 coats of each. |
I like both, but think CG has more coverage.
ReplyDeleteHappy Wednesday!
Thanx Carolina! I think so too, but from a far one can't tell
ReplyDeleteCG <3
ReplyDeleteToo bad the top coat did that shrinkage! Did you apply it to CG too? Nice color, anyway (very summer-y)!
ReplyDeleteNo CG is without top coat. I think with seche I have to let the polish dry before applying seche, but since I don't have the patience or the time...
ReplyDeleteThanks for the comparison! I have the ChG and think that's enough for me. I've read that some ladies use a regular clear polish under SV to combat shrink, but I just stick with my SH top coat which usually behaves fine on its own.
ReplyDeleteI don't have a way to order SH on the net. So I have to use Seche.
ReplyDeleteAnyway I think CG is the better version, but really there is not a great difference.
