Revlon - Electric

Another one from my swap with Carolina. It's a beautiful lemony colour, with white shimmer. The shimmer is very hardly visible, I only saw it when I applied the polish on my nails, in the bottle I thought it was a yellow cream. So that was a pleasant surprise.
We are having the worst weather lately, so no sunshine, always raining, and I can't get a break to take decent pictures of my polishes. We are looking for an apartment to buy, but we are not having any luck, everything on the market is missing something that we are looking for in an apartment, so I am starting to think we will never find a place of our own. I don't know why they love making buildings here without any balconies, I really hate not having a balcony. And no elevator either, even buildings with 6 floors don't have elevators. I don't get it.....
I just had to share my frustration with you, now I am done.
In other polish news, I bought Dior's Rock Coat on Tuesday, so that's coming up shortly, I think tomorrow.

Color Club - Revvvolution

My first Color Club ever!!
It's a sort of light dark gray holo, it's not linear, but still very pretty!! When there's no sunlight it looks a bit like gray sand, but when in the sunlight it comes to life, and there's practically a party on your nails.
This needs two coats to reach opacity, and with a top coat of seche it looks super shinny!!And of course this is super easy to remove!
So here it is :

Cult nails - Iconic

Although these are a bit more than what I usually spend on nail polish, I thought I'd try one because they all seem so pretty, and because the owner of the brand - Maria is a fellow blogger. Check out her blog by the way here
This is a dark red- wine like- shimmer polish, with red flakies in it. I loved it, and since I am a flakie fan, I thought this was my favourite of the four polishes she sells for now. Her line is expanding day by day, and she is putting out a new glitter polish soon.
The delivery to France was only 3$, so in total this came up to 13$, so like 10€ the price that a Revlon polish costs over here.
I put on 2 coats for opacity, and found that it was a very good quality nail polish.
The bottle is round and easy to hold, the cap is easy to grab, and the brush is also quite good. I will defenitly be buying more polishes from her.
As I was unable to capture it's beauty with my camera since we had no sun shine that day, I will post a lot of pictures and the actual colour is somewhere between all of these.

Writing thing

I have been seeing this on several blogs, and thought it would be fun to do it. I love seeing other people's writing and so here's mine. If you want to do this too, the questions are:
1. What is you name? And your blog.
2. Blog url
3. Write: the quick brown fox jumped over the lazy dog.
4. Favorite quote
5. Favorite song
6. Favorite band/singers
7. Say anything you want
8. Pass it along to a few bloggers

Misa - It's electric

Misa is growing on me day by day, more and more. I bought this because I didn't have a cream dark blue, but when I put it on I had the pleasant surprise that it was matte!!
So it dires off pretty quickly, but the wear is not super when worn matte. I love this colour!! It looks great matte and glossy too!!
I put on two coats and the next day I added a coat of seche.
I couldn't decide on 5 photos today because it looks so good in all of them and I had the luck to catch some sunlight outside and so show you this beautiful polish in the best lighting.

Pina Parie - no 45

This is a brand that I discovered at the Nail expo, it's a German brand that produces all kinds of nail stuff and they also have a nail polish line with lots of shades. Their site is over here .
I bought some nail polish from their stand, for a moderate price the big bottles were at 4€, and the small one at 3€.
The first one I am going to show you is a beautiful cream beige with lots of gold shimmer.
The formula is pretty good, it goes on smoothly, and it was almost a one coatter. Drying time is normal, and the wear is ok too.
This was two coats, and a top coat of seche vite.
I bought two pairs of shoes the last two weeks:
The first one I fell in love with at Zara- they are dark blue.
And the second one are actually booties and they are brown- I saw some booties like these on a fashion blog here , off course those where Chloé and cost a lot of money, and I think that it's an older collection anyway. But ever since I saw them on her blog, I became obsessed and had to have them, so yesterday I got up and got dressed and went to the mall. After searching all the shoe stores, I finally found at the Bata store these babies. They are very comfortable too!!

Orly - Pure Porcelaine

I first saw this on Penelope's blog which I love by the way, and her nails are gorgeous. I think it looks better on her than on me, but it is a very very beautiful polish. First of all, the colour is something different comparing to other nude polishes, this is a light dusty cream pink. It is super glossy, almost like a jelly!!
And the formula is great, not runny, but just right.
I love it and wore it all day, and the second day thought I'd give it a different spin, and applied a coat of crackle.
This and Royal velvet are the only ones I bought from the Precious collection.
Here are the photos- this is 3 coats - 2 would have been enough also.

Orly Royal Velvet

This is definitely a must have, if you don't buy all the polishes in new collections, this is the must have from Orly's precious.
It' a brown jelly base, from what I can figure out, packed with rich dark blue shimmer!!
I've seen this on other blogs, and I've read that it needs 3 coats but I only applied 2 and think it looks pretty darn good this way too!!
Application is great, and the polish dries off pretty quickly too.
Because it's never enough for me, I added the cracke finish, in white from China Glaze.

H&M's peppermint fusion

I've seen this on Sam's blog so I really liked the colour and decided to look for it at my local H&M store and found it!!
So it's a blue base with turquoise shimmer.
This is two coats. And I also applied a coat of OPI's Black Shatter on top, and loved the look. I wore this on Monday when we went out with a high school friend of my husband's.
