My Best of Monday - My Best of creams

Hello people!!
I had a suggestion in my suggestion colomn for the giveaway, someone told me to do posts on best products. So  from now on I will start Best of Monday - what does this mean? It means that each monday  I will make a top ten of something and give the reasons and direct you to the swatches or if there are none do one.
I will start off by saying that this is my best of, and that concearns only the products that I have already tried. So this does not mean that I am excluding products that I haven't tried, just making a top ten of what I've already tested.
So here we go - I hope this will be to your liking and hope to hear your opinion on it - feedback is important to me - I value your opinion.
The criteria I took into consideration in making this top ten are: color match with my skin tone(white as flour), application, formula, number of coats needed for opacity, price, wear and of corse shine.
10. Pink - American Apparel - Coney Island - here is the review. I placed this last because I had serious tip wear within a day and it was quite pricey.
9. Lilac - China Glaze - Agent Lavender - This barely didn't make the list but hey here it is. I had some trouble applying it and that's why it's on the 9th place.
These are old photos from my beginings as a blogger so don't jugde
8. Green -OPI - Greenwich Village - here is the review. This one is great - the price is what it is and it's a bit sheer

7. Orange - China Glaze - Life preserver - the review is here and this is definitelly one of my favourite polishes ever - but the tip wear was visible after a day and I really hate their brushes.
 6. Grey - Mavala - Mauve Cendré - you can find the review here. This one is quite a good polish, but the colour doesn't really suit me and the bottles are small, and implicitely the handle on the brush which makes application a bit difficult. But otherwise these are wonderfull polishes. These retail for 5€ 5 ml, so they are pretty expensive.
 5. Blue - Dior - Nirvana - the review is located here - The polish is perfect but the no 5 is justified by the price - 21€ and the brush is not quite perfect.
4. Electric blue - Kiko 294 - here is the review - this polish has almost got it all: the price is pretty decent 4€ - the quantity is ok too, even the brush is fine - but I hate the fact that they don't name their polishes.

3. Red - Zoya - Sooki - the review is here. This is one of the best reds ever and I must say I am won over.

2. Dusty pinkish white - Orly Pure Porcelaine - the review is here - and I really loved this polish it's the ultimate wedding color, and very work appropriate but still original - have not seen anything like it. It is kind of pricey but the bottles are huge so I guess this compensates.

And drum roll no 1. is - Misa - Dirty sexy money - the review is here - This has got it all - price is not high, the finish is super glossy, and you only need like one coat  so even for the laziest ones of you out there it's perfect, the colour is gorgeous, and drying time is faboulous. And I even love the name. Oh and the bottles are square - so no space is wasted in my stash.

Cristina does nail - Sinful Colors - Mint apple

Hello everybody,
Today there will be no nail from me, because me and my husband are away on a small weekend getaway, in the Normand country side, by the sea.
But I've got a new post from Cristina, who continues her research in the Sinful Colors area.

"Shinning
Heart only opened my apetite, and Mint Apple convinced me that Sinful is an excellent brand.
This is my second Sinful, odered overd the Internet this time.
This is a very unusual colour, with lots of white shimmer in it, not something to wear at the office anywway - which I actually... did... today...:) and my nails did not miss some funny comments :)
The formula is just as great as with the first one, perfect everything: application, brush, drying time, wear. Only this one is a bit sheer. In the pictures I am wearing 2 coats, but I think 3 coats would hide better the nail line.
I also did a comparison, with Mavala Lagoon and Elf Mint
Certainly not dupes. I am wearing 2 coats of each to avoid any discrimination :P, no top coat. I've got Mint Apple on my index, Lagoon on my middle finger, and Mint on my ring finger.

Sinful is my favourite from all points of view ;)"

Mavala Ginza

For a change from Kikos I have a beautiful Mavala for you today, it's a cream brown mauve base with superbe bronze shimmer.I love Mavala polishes, and their base coats and top coats, but the problem with their polishes is the bottle size, thus making the brush grip a little too small, but quality wise they are great, just like OPI.
This is two coats, but I thing I could have added another one for better opacity. Since yesterday's KIKO was a hit and you guys asked me how it was layered on top of other polishes, I layered it over this one and got a wonderful result. After that I decided to go even further and put on a matte finish, and so I obtained a suede look. Here are the results - click for larger views.

Mavala - Lamé Gold

This is a color I don't usually enjoy that much because it's so toned down. I don't wear clothes that attract attention, my only thing are my nails - here I can really go wild.
But I liked it because of it's got this golden glow and sometimes pink glow.
As usual the formula is great, and I have found that mavala can easily be uses for konad manis. The only thing I don't like about these polishes is their small bottles.
Here are the photos - 2 coats and I also did an extra coat of matte finishing today, and it actually looks really good this way too.

Mavala - Mauve Cendré

I must say that I love Maval, all the polishes I have bought until now are super, the colors are great, the texture is great, I like the brush, and it dries off pretty quickly too.
This is a shade that my husband picked for me, I wanted to buy a darker one.
Here are the photos - 2 coats. On the other side my top coat is Mavala too, and I see that it leaves some streaking, or maybe I should wait more to apply it.

Mavala - Mexico - 30

This is a swatch I did a while back, but I never showed you these pictures simply because I forgot......ooops. Sorry.
This is a great color, it doesn't seem that interesting in the bottle but when on the nail you c
an see it has some reflexes in the light, which give it a very special aspect. I really love it, the texture is great, easy application, and the price not so big 5€. Enjoy!!

This is my cat Mumu who is waving hello to everyone

My cute large coffee mug that I bought in a little town we visited two weekends ago. I love it because it has a fashionista cat on it.
