Color Club - Wicked sweet

Today I am going to show you a polish I thought was going to be a neon, but actually is a matte shimmer.
This is part of the collection Wicked sweet, and it's a blue base with turquoise shimmer, that dries matte, not suede, matte.
The particular thing about this polish is that is smells like candy, even with top coat on, I love it!! It smells really good, better than the Revlon scent ones.
I applied 3 coats and that's because I thought I could still see a bit of VNL. And then I thought it would look good with a coat of white shatter. And here are the results - click to enlarge.

Peggy Sage - Diamond Prune

I picked this up at Cyra Lido and it was about 4,30€. It is pretty ok price wise.
Peggy Sage polishes are amazing quality, the brush is great and makes application easy, formula is good - it's always opaque in two coats.
I am super tired so if I make any mistakes don't pay attention to them.
This is a sort of charcoal blue cream with purple and blue shimmer.
I applied two coats, and it looks awesome!
I have nothing negative to say about these polishes.
On top I applied a coat of Turquoise Shatter. Sorry about the thread hanging from my middle finger, I only saw it when looking through the photos.

Pink Wednesday - OPI Teenage Dream

I thought I'd show you Teenage Dream all by itself becaus eI've only showed it to you layered over another polish, and this one is quite nice on its own too.
It's a pinkish transparent base, with small pink glitter, and bigger round holo glitter.
It applies very well, I like that even in one coat the glitter spreads out on the nail, there are no bold patches, and the distribution is pretty homogeneous.
I applied two coats, and after that because I couldn't leave it alone, I added a coat of navy shatter, but I hate the way it came out.

Wet'n' Wild Blazed

My first ever Wet'n'Wild nail polish ever!! And it is thanx to Carolina again!!
I love the shape of the bottles, they are so pretty.
This one is a beautiful Peachy cream nail polish. It was opaque in two coats, and the formula is great. And I think these are quite cheap in the states, because these can not be found in Europe, I've found some sites that do deliver in Europe, but they are not always stocked with the most recent collections.
Wet'n'Wild also makes make up - I've actually bought 3 sets of eye shadow and they are really cheap - 3$ a piece, and they are great quality products. I bought mine on this site www.nonpareilboutique.com
I added a coat of red Shatter from OPI over this.
And bonus : OPI white Shatter over Dior Aloha.

Fun with OPI shatter

Since I promised yesterday that I will show you more pictures here they are.
I forgot to mention that OPI is celebrating it's 30th anniversary this year.
I got a mani with OPI Road house blue at their launch, and also let the manicurist file my nails, and that's why I have more rounded up nails.
Tomorrow I will be showing you bottle photos of the Touring America collection.
Ok first up are the bottle photos:
Blue shatter -it is a shimmer one, Navy Shatter and Turquoise shatter - this too is a shimmer shatter.

Black Shatter which you already know, white Shatter and Red Shatter.

Turquoise shatter is on my index finger - here you can really see the difference between the blue and the turquoise.
This is navy Shatter

And this is all turquoise shatter.

This also contains the silver shatter swatch that will come out with the pirates of the Caribbean collection.
And I leave you with the presentation video for the new collection:

OPI autumn collection launch in Paris

As I've told you in my last post, I was lucky enough to get invited to the Paris launch of the autumn collection called Touring America. They also launched the shatter collection.
The event took place in the heart of Paris at the La Maison Blanche restaurant, and we were invited for a presentation and lunch.
I got there a bit early, and was able to get a manicure with one of the new shades - I chose Road house blue which is as Sam from Fashion Polish called it - blurple a dark blue that looks a bit purplelish. I ran into some fellow bloggers over there -like fashionpolish.com, 30ansenbeauté and her collaborator and Yoko.
We had some champagne and meanwhile everybody got their nails done.
Suzi than gave us the presentation on the new collection, and after that we had lunch. I also got the chance to take a photo of me and Suzi.
A big thank you to the PR staff who was very present amongst us all, and who made it possible for me to be a part of this.
And at the end of the event I got a bag full of goodies: the entire Touring America collection, the entire shatter collection!!!!! and a bandanna with nail polish bottles, some chocolates- I will show you pictures tomorrow.

I am now going to leave you with the photos:

First of all the nail polish displays and their swatches:
