Orly - Pure Porcelain & Essence - Circus Confetti
I know I already swatched this one, but I really like it and I am now in the middle of revisiting some of my favourite nailpolishes.
This is an ivory cream polish, that looks good on everyone I think. It is a great nude, very warm color, applies like a dream, in two coats it is opaque. I had some wear on it after 3 days, but I did not wrap the tips, because I'm lazy like that.
On top I applied a coat of my Essence - Circus Confetti which is like a really glitter packed clear base with lots of different sized and colored glitter.
Here are the photos hope you enjoy.

Gold Gradient
Hello everyone!
Hope your day is going well. I am hoping to get rid of some nail polish, to only keep my favourites, and do some nailart posts rather then just swatches. But I will still do swatches whenever I get new nail polish.
Today's post is a gradient I did using as a base Orly's Ola, and on top Milani Gold Glitz.
I love the base color, corals, oranges and other combinations of the two are really my favourite colors for nail polish. This Milani is one of the one coat glitters. I love the way they look together hope you like it too.

Orly Fowl Play & Gradient
This one is another polish I didn't take pictures of when I swatched it, and had to redo the swatch and this time remember to take pictures.
I have heard that this polish is a dupe for OPI Merry Midnight, but since I don't own that one I can't do a comp. But here is one that Jessica from Polish Insomniac did. I think they are one and the same polish.
I love them both and when I saw this coming out I knew I had to have it, since Merry Midnight is no longer produced.
It is a jelly dark purple polish, with lots of duochrome flakies of different sizes, and I see some blue glitter in there too. I really like it, I did 3 coats of it to get it opaque, but I could have stoped at two. The formula is great, easy to apply easy enough to remove. It does shrink a bit with Seche, but what polish doesn't.
I did a gradient too, I started with KIKO n° 303, and after that Essence Time for romance. I love the way it turned out:

Orly - Preamp
Hey hey hey!!!
Nice to see you all again!! As usual I've been a busy bee, and will still be so for the next 25 years..........
Onto to nicer things - like NAILPOLISH!!
This one is a beauty - it's a pink cream with pink shimmer. It was love at first site! I don't own anything else like it.
It went on pretty smoothly, not a single problem to report, and I had to apply two coats for opacity. I wore it for about 4 days and had no chips, just a bit of tip wear, the photos I took are at 4 days of wear. So I guess it lasted pretty good that far. I think it could have lasted more, but I just had to change it, had enough. So I guess you understand I highly recommend this nail polish.
Hope you like it as much as I did.

What I would wear
Since I can't do nail posts, because of the bad bad shape my nails are in - have a look for yourselves - click to enlarge if you like to be scared- I have decided to start this series of posts.
What it is about - I choose an outfit from my own wardrobe, and show you a few nail polishes I would choose to wear with it.
I will give you all the details about the outfit and the nail polishes I chose.
So today's outfit is :
The dress is from H&M and I bought it last year just before Christmas, for New Years Eve. I think it was about 25€ not so expensive I think. It has a gray snake print on it, but it is subtle.
The shoes are from Zara and I love love love them, and when I saw them I had to have them! They were about 45€, from the summer 2011 collection. They are the color dark blue, one of my favourite colors now.
The bag is also from Zara and I think I must have paied like 5€ for it don't remember how long ago sorry.
The nailpolishes are from left to right:
Essie: Smooth Sailing you can fin a full review here
Essie:Chinchilly you can find a full review here
Estee Lauder: Surreal Violet you can find a full review here
OPI: It's totally forth worth it you can find a full review here
Orly: Pure Porcelaine you can find a full review here

Dior Lucky
Hey everyone!
I haven't been posting because I have had a busy week. And I didn't have time to do my nails.
But I did purchase this Dior polish last weekend, and I love it! It's the perfect coral.
It is part of the Dior addict collection, along with three other shades I didn't see the need to buy.
The application is just like all the other Diors. The color is a pink coraly red, with the usual very subtle fine silver shimmer that Dior has acustomed us to.
These are very pigmented, just like the associated lipstick line, so one coat is enough.
I loved the color, so much that I think I will be wearing it again. My camera had an alergic reaction to it, and didn't catch the coral in it. So the true color is actually the second picture.
I tried to find a dupe in my collection but I don't own one. I have it lined up with some of the polishes that I think most resembles it.

Orly OLA + Essence Edward
We went to Marseille this weekend, to attend the wedding of a friend of my husbands.
And this polish is what I wore for 3 days.
It's a coral cream polish, very lovely color, corals are one of my favourites. Application was effortless, and the formula is excellent as on all the Orlys I've tried.
Two coats was enough for complete opacity, and today I thought about adding a coat of glitter to it and this Essence seemed perfect.
One coat of the glitter did the trick, I think it came out pretty good. What do you think?
Are you like me? Do you like to top off a polish with something else?
I leave you with the beautiful view we had from the wedding location - the famous Calanques de Marseille

Sally Hansen - Grey Area
I am going to rave about this one!!
It is one of those colors that sit in my stash for months before being tried and when I finally do, I wonder why I haven't done so much earlier.
It looks grey in the bottle but it is more than that, it's a bit purple too, and a bit blue too. It's definitelly a cream, and I think you can get away with only one coat because it is pretty thick as formula, but easely manageble, and I love love the brush. I applied two coats and after that I thought it would look cool with a bit of sponging on the tip with Orly - Space Cadet.
This is truly a gem and I am sorry for not discovering it faster. This was one of the polishes Carolina from Colores de Carol sent me in our last swap. Thank you Carolina!!

My Best of Monday - My Best of creams
Hello people!!
I had a suggestion in my suggestion colomn for the giveaway, someone told me to do posts on best products. So from now on I will start Best of Monday - what does this mean? It means that each monday I will make a top ten of something and give the reasons and direct you to the swatches or if there are none do one.
I will start off by saying that this is my best of, and that concearns only the products that I have already tried. So this does not mean that I am excluding products that I haven't tried, just making a top ten of what I've already tested.
So here we go - I hope this will be to your liking and hope to hear your opinion on it - feedback is important to me - I value your opinion.
The criteria I took into consideration in making this top ten are: color match with my skin tone(white as flour), application, formula, number of coats needed for opacity, price, wear and of corse shine.
10. Pink - American Apparel - Coney Island - here is the review. I placed this last because I had serious tip wear within a day and it was quite pricey.
9. Lilac - China Glaze - Agent Lavender - This barely didn't make the list but hey here it is. I had some trouble applying it and that's why it's on the 9th place.
8. Green -OPI - Greenwich Village - here is the review. This one is great - the price is what it is and it's a bit sheer
7. Orange - China Glaze - Life preserver - the review is here and this is definitelly one of my favourite polishes ever - but the tip wear was visible after a day and I really hate their brushes.
6. Grey - Mavala - Mauve Cendré - you can find the review here. This one is quite a good polish, but the colour doesn't really suit me and the bottles are small, and implicitely the handle on the brush which makes application a bit difficult. But otherwise these are wonderfull polishes. These retail for 5€ 5 ml, so they are pretty expensive.
5. Blue - Dior - Nirvana - the review is located here - The polish is perfect but the no 5 is justified by the price - 21€ and the brush is not quite perfect.
4. Electric blue - Kiko 294 - here is the review - this polish has almost got it all: the price is pretty decent 4€ - the quantity is ok too, even the brush is fine - but I hate the fact that they don't name their polishes.
3. Red - Zoya - Sooki - the review is here. This is one of the best reds ever and I must say I am won over.
2. Dusty pinkish white - Orly Pure Porcelaine - the review is here - and I really loved this polish it's the ultimate wedding color, and very work appropriate but still original - have not seen anything like it. It is kind of pricey but the bottles are huge so I guess this compensates.
And drum roll no 1. is - Misa - Dirty sexy money - the review is here - This has got it all - price is not high, the finish is super glossy, and you only need like one coat so even for the laziest ones of you out there it's perfect, the colour is gorgeous, and drying time is faboulous. And I even love the name. Oh and the bottles are square - so no space is wasted in my stash.
