Dior - Marilyn & Essence - Make it Golden

Hey everyone!
Hope everyone had a nice Christmas, and lots of presents, cause I did!! I got a Kindle and a GHD hair straightner. I was a very lucky girl!! A happy new year to you guys too!!

This polish, was my duty free purchase, and I had been lusting over it for a long time. It is a pretty, classic red cream polish. I really love it, and the packaging is so cute, looks like a Christmas tree decoration.

It is opaque in almost one coat, for you guys who don't like to apply lots of coats, this is just perfect. For me it was two coats, because I like the texture the polish gets with the second coat.

I am also trying out a new topcoat, Sally Hansen's Insta dry at Emilie's  recommendation - Thank you Emilie it is everything that I like in Seche Vite and it doesn't shrink the polish.

I am still a big fan of Seche Vite, but we can't really get it here in France, and I used to order it along with my 8 polishes from Transdesign, but since I have decided to calm down on the polish buying, I have to change top coats, so I think I may have found the solution. For those of you who live in France - you can find this at Sephora, for 9€.

Gold accent nail with Essie - Bikini so Teeny

Today I am on a relax weekend normally. Because I'm sure that when my husband comes back, he'll have us do something, because he's got not one to sit around on a weekend.

Untill then I am taking advantage and posting this. It's a nail polish I bought in the hope of seeing the pretty shimmer that you see in the bottle, on the nail. It is part of the summer collection I think, and it is a blue lavender cream, with white shimmer inside.

The formula was a bit runny for my taste, but ok, the application is ok, and it only took 2 coats to get opacity. But on the nail the shimmer is not visible, not even in sunlight, you can barely see it if you look very closely.

I love the color, but if it hadn't been for the shimmer, I would probably have not purchased it. Anyway I thought of doing an accent nail, with China Glaze I'm not lion glitter. This is part of the Safari collection, and it was my only choice from that collection. It is a pretty gold and holo glitter. I absolutely love this one, and I think I will do a full mani with this one.

China Glaze - Under the boardwalk

Hey everyone, I've been pretty busy lately, busy bee, work and other stuff (like playing Hay Day- Essie Button got me addicted to this).

The nail polish today is another one from the Neon collection, and this one is a jelly neon, a pretty dark fuchsia color. I really loved this one. I bought it because it looks very much like the nailpolish I had on my toes. I had my pedi done in a salon, with a Jessica nailpolish, that looked amazing, and don't really remember the name, so I bought this China Glaze, which I love, but it is not the same, because the Jessica was a cream, and had a lot more fullness to it. But it comes very close.

I applied 2 coats, and it became almost opaque, so I left it like that. Later I added an accent nail using Milani one coat glitter - Silver Dazzle. I loved the way the colors mixed together, but I had to go and do something more to it - I stamped a design from my Bundle Monster plate BM 201, and special konad polish. On top of that ( I know it's a bit much) I added a coat of Sally Hansen Set the stage and here are the results:

And a bonus photo of Mumu, who right now is haracing me to give him his food, I can barely right this post, with him on my arm.

Milani - 3D - 3D

This is not quite a holo in the traditional way, it's a shimmer gold base, with very small holo glitter. I think that is the best way I can describe it. It's not like the other polishes in this collection that is the 3D collection. The other ones are clearly holos and you can see the swatch of Hi-tech here, the swatch of Hi-Res here, and Cyberspace here. These other ones are not linear holos but they remain holos, and it was obvious in the application and the removal.
This one on the other hand it did not have the same application & removal. It applied very well on a normal base, and the removal was just like on a shimmer polish.
It is still a very pretty polish, but it's not really a holo.
This was 3 coats I think:

Barielle - Gelt me to the party

First of all Happy Easter to everyone who celebrates it!! I do!!
Another first for me - Barielle, with the help of Carolina!!
This is a dark golden shimmer, it was opaque in two coats, the formula, application and brush were all great, but the colour does not suit me, it makes my skin looks a bit dirty. Otherwise a very pretty polish, and the bottle is square just like I like them.
So here are the photos:

KIKO 232

This is my last Kiko, and it's still a sheer one, it's more on the yellow golden side. This was 3 coats too, and same as all the previous ones, very good formula.
