Mondial de beauté et spa de Paris

So, as I told you yesterday, Saturday I went to the beauty and spa expo in Paris, at the Palais de Congres. It's apparently an annual thing, and it addresses mostly professionals, but I had fun too.
I went there around 2 o'clock and first did a tour of the spa part, there where a lot of massages salons and laser treatment salons - I don't know much about that so I'll just skip to something more interesting. Me and my friend Mariana had some fun over at the Dermalogica stand - it's a brand of skin care products, that seem to be very good products, we determined our skin type and then tried different products.
Here's a photo of their stand with the skin bar- loved the idea.
This was my skin type chart.
Here is my friend who tried the products on her face, I couldn't as I was already wearing make-up.
So for you to have an idea of the prices the small bottle on the left is precleanser that costs 45€.
We then bought some abrasive hand treatment that's called One Minute Manicure, it's got lots of small abrasive pieces, and on top a scented oil, you mix them up, then pour a bit in your hand, you rub your hands together, and makes for an awesome hand massage and leaves your hands silky smooth.
Here's a photo of all the scents they sell. I bought green apple and lime.
On to the nail stuff:
We stopped at the Artdeco stand and found that they also sold BeYu nailpolish. The bottles looked a lot like Zoya bottles - they were having an offer 3 bottles for 10€ (I think all the prices were without VAT).

The trend this year, as I've seen are natural make up - like this line of mineral eyeshadow - 100% made from different minerals
and this one:

Over at the Fashion Beauté stand they introduces a machine that imprints any kind of design on your nail, they had lots of those. You can see the machine on the right part of the photo:
and some of the designs it can do:
We were then off to the Akyado stand, they mostly sold gels, acrylic paint for nail art and lots of deco stuff:

Our next stop was over at the Trendy nail wraps stand - they are from the UK, and they are basically the same thing as Minx
Another fun stop was at the Pina Parie stand - they have a line of nail polishes, that looked pretty good so I decided to try them out and bought a few. Here is their display:
we made a small pit stop at the Alessandro stand - they had a whole shop organized, but you could only buy in bulk so I couldn't pick anything up, but I did take a picture of their display - impressive:

There was also a Konad stand where I picked up some of the longed for konad nail polishes that I didn't have:
I also got to talk to the president of Minx France and he showed me some designs:
And to finish off, there were lots of girls doing nail prosthesis (don't know if this is how they are called):

  1. I think MINX nail designs is brilliant, it is shiny and doesn't need drying time, just apply to your nails and shape it to fit your nails in enough, it can make your nails beautiful for a long time. Very good. like it so much!
