Orly - Fantasea

This is my first Orly, I wanted to buy Space Cadet but it was very expensive so I settled for Fantasea, which I also liked very much, but on my nails it looks faint, it doesn't show it's true color. Anyway it took me 3 coats to get it looking decent, and of course it made the drying process much more difficult.

I also got some nail art stickers from my brother's girlfriend Georgiana and used them with succes on my nails. Here are the results. I think it came out ok. Do you agree?

Joyeaux Noel

I know this is not exactly a christmas color but I was very happy when I saw these in the window at the salon getting my hair done. My first Peggy Sage is Smoky Mat, and as I suppose you've realised it is a matte polish. At first I thought it would be matter than this, but then I put on a coat of the matte finish from Essence and came out the same way so I guess finally it is very matte.

How was your Chirstmas day? I ate waaaaaaaaaaaaaay too much, as usual, and we had fun, but I wish my husband was here with me. I made my Tiramisu and everybody loved it. We decorated the Christmas tree and the dog. here are the pictures. The tree isn't exactly the perfect Christmas tree but this is the best I could do.

Just signed in to wish you all a very Merry Christmas and happy holidays with your loved ones. Unfortunatelly my husband is stuck in France because some people forgot to buy glicol for the airplanes at Charles de Gaule Airoport, so I will not be with him this Christmas, it is the first time since we've known each other that we are spending Christmas apart. I hope to be seeing him on Monday. Wish us luck!!

China Glaze - Mommy kissing Santa

It's just like me to get sick on my vacation, so I have a minor lung infection, and I've been caughing for 2 weeks but it didn't go further than that, but now I've got the fever and everything. So I'm taking meds again - so sick of the meds, this years I had my tonsils taken out but I suffered a great deal before taking them out and took a lot of pills.

So anyway, getting back to the subject I had been longing for such a red polish. It's got a deep shimmer red, I just fell in love.

It is easy to apply, normal drying time, and I adore the shimmer.

To make it more Chrismatssy I did a top coat of CND Jade Sparckle which is a transparent white base with green glitter that turns gold in the light.

OPI - DS Extravance

A beautiful pink holo, which can not be described in words, and I could not capture it's true beauty in my pictures, but here's what I accomplished.

Misa - Sorry just can't help it

This is my first Misa ever - I am no longer a Misa virgin. I must say I love it, good quality nail polish, it is almost opaque in one coat, but I did two anyway, it looks great. This is a violet cream its drying time is normal. I also did a top coat of CND Violet Shimmer. Also my first CND. I discovered that they sell them on Transdesign.

Yesterday's Essence

Hey everybody! I'm still enjoying my vacation, I'm loving it, I so missed these places and my familly, and my friends.

I did a top coat of Essence - Glisten up! on yesterday's Essence and found that it looked greeeeat!!!

Love this as a top coat, the flecks are green in the sunlight and blue in normal light.

Essence

I forgot the name of this one, and I'm on vacation in my country and didn't bring this one. sorry!!

But it's a beautiful brown with green glitter, in the light they turn blue. I loved the way this one applied, and dried.

I'm so happy to be in my home country, and see my friends again, and the places I spent 27 years of my life.

Essence - Glisten up!

I wasn't expecting much from this polish, since the previous Essence wasn't that good, but it actually surprised me, the brush was just the right size and shape - contrary to the other one- it applied very easily, and dried off pretty fast. I did 3 coats because this is a transparent blue base with green flecks. I think it works better as a top coat on cream polishes, but still very pretty. I like it very much!!! The flecks look blue in the sunlight.

Mavala - Lamé Gold

This is a color I don't usually enjoy that much because it's so toned down. I don't wear clothes that attract attention, my only thing are my nails - here I can really go wild.
But I liked it because of it's got this golden glow and sometimes pink glow.
As usual the formula is great, and I have found that mavala can easily be uses for konad manis. The only thing I don't like about these polishes is their small bottles.
Here are the photos - 2 coats and I also did an extra coat of matte finishing today, and it actually looks really good this way too.

OPI - Got the blues for red

I wanted to try something more conventional, so I did a swatch of my OPI - Got the blues for red. The first red OPI I ever bought. It's a beautiful deep red, your pretty normal nail polish. Looks a lot like manicurist of Seville but that one is a more pinkish red. This is actually the nail polish color I wore on my civil wedding day.
