OPI - Greenwich village SOTD

Hi you guys,
Sorry for the lack of posts this weekend but I was out of the city and monday away on business. Had a terrible day yesterday, froze my ass off in two train stations, but anyways here is today's swatch OPI - Greenwich Village.
It's one of my oldest OPI's, I initially loved it, but now I'm not so crazy about it, but still very good quality nail polish. this is 2 coats - click for larger view.

OPI - Banana Bandanna

This is definitely one of my favorite colors from OPI, it goes great on my nails even when they are short. Makes them look bigger and larger. So here are the photos click to enlarge.


I also went by Sephora yesterday, since I had some gift certificates, and I picked up the Ridge Filler and the Manicure time-saver from Mavala. Very good products both of them. I had problems with removing my flakies polishes so I found something which might be very interesting to a lot of you - Sephora Express nail polish remover - you just dip your finger nail into it and rub, and all nailpolish just comes off. A lot easier to remove the nail polish then with regular nailpolish remover. It is a bit more pricey 9 € but I definitely think it's worth it.

Dedié à Cristina

Hi everybody,
This post is for my friend Cristina who came to visit me this weekend and brought me her Nfu Oh to try out. I absolutely loved loved loved it, I gotta get me some a that. It has large flecks in it, that reflect into the light in different colors. Very hard to get off though. This is #49 over my Mac Ming Blue.

Mavala - Mexico - 30

This is a swatch I did a while back, but I never showed you these pictures simply because I forgot......ooops. Sorry.
This is a great color, it doesn't seem that interesting in the bottle but when on the nail you can see it has some reflexes in the light, which give it a very special aspect. I really love it, the texture is great, easy application, and the price not so big 5€. Enjoy!!

La petite merveille chez Auchan

The last time I went to the supermarket, I wondered off to the cosmetics aisle, and found by accident this matte top coat by Essence. It was only 3 euros. I had been drooling at China Glaze's Matte Magic, but here we don't have this, so I was pretty happy when I found this.


Here it is in action over OPI teas-y does it. I think it's pretty good and cheap, so I definitely recommend this. I was very satisfied with the result.


And this is the same mani but with some konad flowers on it. the effect is very subtle so click for a larger view.

Mon deuxieme essai Konad

I don't know what I am doing wrong, I just can't get this right. This is my second try out with Konad plaques. I can't really get that thick aspect on the flowers. maybe there's something wrong with my technique. tell me what I can do to make it work.

Konad

I thought I'd try out the konad stamping method so I ordered a stamp, a plaque and all the necessary. I ordered this on ebay from a seller called toutpourlesongles and he also sent me these free little stars and sparkly things to apply on the nails. All this cost 11 euros.
I tried it out, but the first time I didn't get it so well, but here are the results:


The polish is Maybelline shade 795, I don't really like the texture, when it dries off it does not shine that much and it is not a matte color.

Just did my nails in my new OPI - Cuckoo for this color and I really am cuckoo for this color!!
Love it love it, and also dries off fast. Great finish and texture, I definitely recommend this nail polish.
