China Glaze - Creative Fantasy

Hello guys!
I am back with a nail polish review. This one is a great one, it was my only pick from the Cirque de Soleil collection.
It is a very dark bright neon purple jelly, I don't know if that makes sense. I have never seen a color like it, and I love it. I think that it is definitely a must have.

It is a bit sheer, it needed 3 coats to get opaque, and the finish is matte, because it's a neon. So it needs a top coat, but once the topcoat is on, it is super glossy, like a normal jelly.

It shrunk a bit with my Seche Vite, and I have only worn it for 2 days, so can't really tell if it chips or not. Hasn't chipped yet.

The camera couldn't quite capture the true color, so this is the photo that was most true to color.

OPI - Dutch'ya just love OPI

I ordered this around 2 months ago, but didn't get around to swatching it. I know I'm very late with this but I still love it. It's part of the Holland collection.

It is a purple cream base with bronze shimmer I would say. I just love the effect this has. Application was perfect, as is the brush. Two coats did the trick.

I just love this color, and I am sorry that my nails are still so small. The pictures were taken after two days from the application , so there's a little wear on the tips.

Dior - Shadow

This is a part of their "Les violets hypnotiques" collection. It was the only color I found original from the trio, so I only bought this one.

It is a dark purple cream base, with subtle but not invisible pink and mauve shimmer I would say.

I used two coats for this and I can say I really love it. I already tried it a few weeks back but forgot to take pictures. I really loved it, and found it very resistant, I wore it for like 3 days with no chips, and it didn't even wear out.

So yeah don't regret this purchase, very pretty and original color.

In this photo I added a coat of Sally Hansen Set the Stage

Illamasqua Theatre of the Nameless collection - Kink and Faux Pas Swatches

I got some surprising nail mail on Friday. I opened the door and saw the mail man, and then he handed me a black package and in it there were two polishes from the new Illamasqua collection. Haley their PR was kind enough to send me these two to try out.

First I want to tell you that these are the polishes I would have bought myself from this collection.

Ok so first of all the polishes came with a nice sealed enveloppe. Love their symbol!!

The polishes are wrapped separately in individual boxes:

The caps are rubbery just like the finish of the polish, but the rest is just the same:

And now on to the polishes them selves:
Kink is a dark green matte polish. This look took two coats. I love the finish, at first when they released the images for add I thought they were normal mattes, but they actually look different from normal mattes. The finish on these really looks rather rubbery.

Another thing I noticed is that when you apply hand cream on your hands the finish does not become shinny like on the other mattes.

And because you don't apply top coat on these, you can expect to get more tip wear than on shinny finish polishes.

Faux Pas is a matte purple. The finish is exactely the same as the previous and the caracteristics of the polish too.
The application is easy, and the formula is great, the brush glides on smoothly, and both polishes are almost one coaters.

Here are the photos - clisk to enlarge.

And a small comparison with Misa sorry just can't help it and Zoya Mira.
Comparison with glossy polishes
Comparison with glossy polishes
Comparison with glossy polishes with matte top coat
These last photos of comparison are after a two day wear and as you can see, these Illamasquas get a bit glossier with time. But I still love them. Due to the very original finish I think of these as must haves for a laquerhead.
What do you think?
Are you going to purchase any of these?

China Glaze - Urban night

The second polish I tried from my swap with Carolina is this one, and it is also part of the latest China Glaze collection Metro. So I was pretty excited to have one of these new polishes since I failed to order any on the internet.
This one is a beautiful dark purple cream, looks a lot like Honk if you love OPI from the touring America collection whose swatch you can find here
I loved the way it looked all by itself, but you know me I had to add something so I added Kleancolor - Chuncky Holo Fuchsia which is a fuchsia transparent base, with duochrome small round glitter.
And on top I added a matte top coat from Essence.

Dior - Purple Mix

The other Dior polish I bought two days ago. This one is a dark purple cream and it great too.
This is two coats of perfection.
So in other news I think this will be my last post before vacation. For two weeks I will be gone, and won't be posting. I will make it up to you when I get back.
Kisses & Hugs everyone!

Pina Parie 52+Kleancolor Red Hot

I am too excited to wait any more to show this.
I started with Pina Parie 51 which was a bit difficult on the application because of the brush that was curved. My guess is that they put normal bottle brushes in small bottles and it touched the bottom of the bottle and it tilted. So that made the application super complicated and that's why my mani is a bit messed up. But the polish on the other hand is excellent, I love the color and was totally surprised to see how great it looked on my skin, and wondered why I had waited almost 6 months to swatch this.
The base is a burdgundy jelly with blue shimmer which gives it an overall look of purple. It is not completly opaque in two coats but it was good enough for me so I left it that way.
And since I am now trying out all my new Kleancolor I thought it would look good with Red hot on top. Red hot is a red transparent base with large red hex glitter and small round glitter.
The result is this and I think it looks great! Picture spam warning!!

Flormar U26

I don't have much time, so this is another one from the Supershine Miracle Colors collection, it's a kind of blue purple foil.
This is three coats because it was a bit sheer. I applied a design from Bundle Monster 225 plate. I love this design it's so gorgeous!! Isn't it?
