Ciaté Caviar mini bar review

Hello everyone!!
Sorry for my abcence I was on a small vacation in Barcelona, had to get some sun, since in Paris we haven't seen it for like two months. Had good times, with good friends, and good food. It was lovely!

So I bought this caviar mini bar in Sephora like a month ago but it took me a while to get this review done, cause I had other priorities on the blog list.

This is 22€ in Sephora, and you get 4 polishes and 4 bottles of those little pearls and a funnel I guess to put your pearls back in the bottle once you are done with them.Here is what the box looks like from the outside. I like it I am a sucker for nice packaging.

This is what it contains: 4 nail polishes - from left to right: - Knickerbockerglory, Pom Pom, fit for a queen and Sand Dune and underneath 4 pearl bottles - from left to right - Prom Queen, Jubilee, Hologram, Candyshop.

Aren't the bottles cute with the little bows?? I love them so much. The other two polishes I haven't tried yet, but I will.

How does it work ??? Well you apply your base, then a coat of polish, and the second one, and you can't let this last one dry - at this moment you pour the pearls directly from the bottle onto your nail, and you will see them stick to it. If you have patches that are still empty, just take some pearls on your finger and press them on your nail yourself. After this you press gently all the pearls on the nail, and wrap your tips in top coat. Just the tips because if you wrap everything, it look kind of nasty.

It is not a long lasting mani, mine did not even make it through one day. The beads fall off if they rubb against something. And it is a bit weird and uncomfortable. But it is fun.

For removal just use a cotton pad, and soack you nail for a bit, and then wipe off the nailpolish with the beads. It is a bit messy so do it over something.

This is Knickerbockerglory ( What a name!!)

 This one is a Coral creme - application is great and it only took two coats to get it opaque.

This is Pom Pom

 This one is more of an orange coral, but the formula is the same as on the previous one.
I tried them without the beads and it is very longlasting. Love these!

And this is Pom Pom with Jubilee.

I found it looked better in real life than in these pictures, can't really say why.
I kinda like the look, but I think that it is not worth the effort, because it doesn't last for long. Hope you enjoy!

KIKO Sugar Mat n°639

Hey guys!!
Today I have another Sugar Mat nailpolish to show you, from Kiko, and it is in n°639. It is a peachy orange, with golden shimmer.

Like all the other nailpolishes from this collection, it dries to that gritty finish, that is so in fashion right now.  It took two coats to get opaque, and it dries pretty quickly.

It is also pretty easy to remove, it's nothing like a glitter, it is more like a shimmer polish, removal wise. So don't be afraid, these are nowhere that painfull to remove as a glitter polish, you will not need to use the aluminium foil method.

I do apply a base coat with these, but no topcoat.

Here are the photos. I have been getting some questions on these, on how they compare to the Liquid Sand from OPI, or pixie dust from Zoya, but I really don't know since I own none of those. But from what I can see, the Kiko seem more opaque.

China Glaze - Pink Plumeria

Hello, hello!!
This is the last of the Neon collection 2012, and it was my favourite according to photos I had seen online, but it is no longer my favourite. My new favourite is Under the Boardwalk, a polish, I got just to complete my order!! hahaha!

This is two coats, and even though you can't see it in the photos, it was  very sheer, and I still had VNL. I kind of hate that in a shimmer polish, if it is a simple jelly ok, but with a shimmer it is totally a different story.

It dries matte like a neon, and I liked the color, but it wasn't as intense as I had hoped for. It didn't wear too good either, after 2 days I had some serious tip wear, but no chips, so that's a plus. It is an orangy pink with gold shimmer I would say, I don't know if that is accurate enough.

China Glaze - Flirty Tankini

This is a bit late I know, but this is when I got my order from transdesign, and at first I didn't think I wanted any of these, but after seeing some swatches I changed my mind, etc.

This was my favourite from this collection, from the swatches online, but I am not so impressed in person. It is an orangy neon, but not too bright, with some pink shimmer I would say. It looked more vibrant on the photos online, but in real life it looks kind of dull, and I kind of regret ever waisting the money. I was expecting a really bright neon with shimmer. But it is pretty, it's just not what I expected.

It was opaque in two coats, and as you know neons dry matte, so I applied a top coat, and it lasted me about 4 days with no chips.

I have ordered two other polishes from this collection, we will see how those turn out.

China Glaze - Riveting and Luxe&Lush

I give you today another one of the Hunger Games collection. I am talkin about Riveting, since Luxe & Lush you've already seen.

Riveting is a bright orange jelly base, with orange and yellow shimmer.
This has the power of a neon, and the finish of a shimmer. I applied 2 coats and it was perfectly opaque. The formula is great and I really love the way it suits my skin tone.

I applied one coat of Luxe&Lush , and one coat of top coat. Hope you like it! What polishes did you choose from the Hunger Games collection?

Essie - Too too hot

This is a swatch I did a long time ago, and I found it now, I am not even sure if this is indeed Too too hot, but I think that's it because it comes close enough.

So this is a cream orangy red, opaque in two coats, and with a lovely shine! I remember it was among my favourites from the Braziliant collection.

Perfect application, and I loved the formula. Hope I got the name right.

Essie - Braziliant

I know I've posting a lot of Essies but I ordered like a ton of them. I really love them lately. But be sure some other goodies are on their way. I think it's a good deal considering that these retail for 10$ normally. And this collection includes Unicorn Pule in it's new name Clairvoyant.

So about this post's polish, it's part of the collection with the same name from this year. It's an bright orange cream with pink shimmer. I loved it, but I'm more of an orange cream girl.

This was two coats, and it lasted about 3 days with no chipping, but you can't really take that into consideration since my nails are a bit exfoliated right now, and on those exact spots I got the chips.

George - Sunset Orange

I was a bit dissapointed by this George. It is a neon orange cream, but it's not quite neon, because the formula was just like on a cream, drying time also, and application.
That was not the dissapointement though. The thing about this polish is that it wears badly, it has tip wear and small chips in two days. It also get scratched and even with the top coat on, I simply don't understand that.
But I guess for the price it retails for, it's worth it.

Essie - Bright tights

This is what I wore for two days on my long weekend, and to the pool where I went with my friends from back home. This is such a fun color, and it looked awesome in the water, it's defenitly a beach color, and I couldn't stop looking at my nails while I was wearing it.
This is an orange neon, and as you may know neons are difficult to apply and they dry matte. They also need more coats than creams, and dry faster too.
So this is 4 coats, but it dried super fast, and no shrinkage with Seche vite.
I am going to wear this more often, maybe on y vacation this summer.

Zoya - Tanzy

Ok, that's a funny name Tanzy! To me it is anyway.
This Zoya is an orange foil from their summer collection. It is just packed with Orange shimmer.
I loved the application and the formula it is a bit thick but to me that's ok, because that way it doesn't droop when I apply it,  I like to nicely pack my brush with polish when I do my nails.
I love the polish and everything about it, but I don't find it that flattering on me.
Yesterday I went out with my cousin, and I passed by the kiko store, and they were having a sale on polishes, everything at 2.5€, so I bought a few.
Ok back to our Tanzy, I applied a design from my BM201 plate, and I really liked the way it came out.
The polish is special Konad polish.
Here are the photos, a bit crappy I know, but I don't seem to get enough light these days. I think I might have to invest in a lamp.

China Glaze Papaya Punch

I am loving this collection more and more, each polish I try makes me love it more.
This is from the Island Escape collection, and I'm sure you've already seen it, but you've never seen it on me!:)
It' a bright orange cream, that I really really really love. When I look at it, it makes me think I'm on a beach in the Barbados, having a swim, or something. It's truly a summer color.
The formula is great, a bit thick, but I loved the way it applied.
I put on a design from my BM 215 plate, and then I tried another one.
