Red glitter gradient

Hey everyone!!
I am so so so so so sorryyyyyyyy, I haven't really had time to take care of this little blog, I am really swamped right now, have been traveling a lot for work, and when I am home I am working, going to the gym and being sick  haha!!

So this is my series of Christmas manis. Starting with a red and blue gradient, I know it's dark blue, it's not black. I started with applying two coats of Dior blue Label and continued with a red glitter gradient. The gradient was done according with my gradient tutorial.

The red glitter is the Milani one coat glitter red sparkle.
Hope you like it. I'm sorry still have no time

Gold Gradient

Hello everyone!
Hope your day is going well. I am hoping to get rid of some nail polish, to only keep my favourites, and do some nailart posts rather then just swatches. But I will still do swatches whenever I get new nail polish.

Today's post is a gradient I did using as a base Orly's Ola, and on top Milani Gold Glitz.

I love the base color, corals, oranges and other combinations of the two are really my favourite colors for nail polish. This Milani is one of the one coat glitters. I love the way they look together hope you like it too.

Orly Fowl Play & Gradient

This one is another polish I didn't take pictures of when I swatched it, and had to redo the swatch and this time remember to take pictures.

I have heard that this polish is a dupe for OPI Merry Midnight, but since I don't own that one I can't do a comp. But here is one that Jessica from Polish Insomniac did. I think they are one and the same polish.

I love them both and when I saw this coming out I knew I had to have it, since Merry Midnight is no longer produced.

It is a jelly dark purple polish, with lots of duochrome flakies of different sizes, and I see some blue glitter in there too. I really like it, I did 3 coats of it to get it opaque, but I could have stoped at two. The formula is great, easy to apply easy enough to remove. It does shrink a bit with Seche, but what polish doesn't.

I did a gradient too, I started with KIKO n° 303, and after that Essence Time for romance. I love the way it turned out:

Sally Hansen - Showtime & gradient

This is another polish I bought from my blogger friend Danielle.
It's a holo grey polish, it's not linear but super pretty.

It was a bit sheer so I had to apply 3 coats. The formula was a bit liquid but nothing I couldn't handle, and thebrush is excellent.

I had to do something extra so I thought of this gradient with Lorelei's Tiara, which is part of the Eye Candy collection. I don't remember showing this to you so I will do a short description. It' a clear base, with very small silver glitter and larger blue round glitter.

Chanel Coco Blue gradient

Hey, everyone!!
We recentely had a nice 2 weeks of 20% off at Sephora, and I just had to buy this nail polish, I had been craving for ages. So I got it at a more decent price.

This is a blue creme with blue shimmer, just lovely. And i loved the way it suited my skintone too. Although it chipped in two days, don't know if it was because of the polish or what, because I don't recall doing anything different than usually.

It applied nicely, but after two coats I still had some bald spots and I chose to leave it that way, because it wasn't that obvious.

I decided to do another gradient, since they've become a huge favourite of mine, with China Glaze Ray-diant.

Rimmel Lemon drop + gradient

What is up everyone?
I did another mani with one of the Rimmels I got from a friend and I wasn't as pleased with this one as I was with the other 3.

This is a light yellow cream, that did not apply very well, it was all streaky even on the second coat, so I gad to put on three.

I did a gradient too using on top Zoya Mira, the thing is that after half a day it started to wear bad, so that's why my nail tips look so beat up on the gradient photo.

SO I really wouldn't recommend buying this polish, on top of the nasty application it wears really bad. So it's really a no go for me.

China Glaze Ray-diant and another gradient!!

Hahaha, I have driven you insane with all the gradients by now right???
Let's start with the base color. It is part of the China Glaze Prismatic collection and it is a let's say yellowish silver small glitter, packed with a lot of larger and multicolored glitter.

The formula was perfect in my opinion, and the application as good as it can be with that thin brush they have.
It was a bit on the sheer side, with only two coats but three did the trick, and it dried in the same amount of time as two coats.

It doesn't look too duochromy to me, so I must not have tried hard enough. I have another polish from this collection so I will try and see the duochrome in that one latter.
I did the gradient using China Glaze Ruby Pumps.

Gradient tutorial and Zoya Mitzi/ Manucure gradient tutorial/ Tutorial pentru manichiura gradient

My gradient manis had a lot of succes, and every friend of mine asked me how it is done. I know that there are lots of tutorials out there but I am doing my version.

So what are the steps to a perfect gradient:
Acestia sunt pasii pentru a realiza o manichiura cu gradient:
Ceci sont les pas à suivre pour réaliser cette manucure:

1. Do your mani as you normally would, choosing your base color - here I chose Zoya Mitzi - it applied not so well, very streaky, and needed 3 coats to reach opacity. This is a matte polish as you can tell so I didn't apply top coat, but you can, so it can dry quicker.

2. The nail polish must be dry when you start this step. Once you have your mani done, apply 2 lines of polish on your work surface, one line of the base color and another line right next to it of the polish you want to apply on your tips - I chose CG For Audrey. Like in the picture bellow:

Moi j'ai choisi CG - For Audrey:

3. Take a make up sponge and grab some of the two lines you applied like so:

Luati un burete de fond de ten si inmuiati-l in cele doua linii de oja ca in poza:

Prenez un éponge de fond de teint et prenez avec, une quantité des deux lignes de vernis comme dans la photo:

4. Press the sponge on your nail tips, as many times as you need to get the desired effect. Slide it from your tips downwards toward the middle of your nail, and dab more on the very tip, so the other color goes opaque.

5. When you are done, do some clean up with e cuetip, or a brush, after apply top coat to even things out and tadaaaaaa:

Cand ati terminat, curatati pielea de excesul de oja, aplicati top cot pentru nivelare si tadaaaa:

Quand vous avez fini, nettoyez autour de l'ongle, appliquez du top coat pour la brillance et voila:

Zoya Maya and a gradient

This one is another one of my NY purchases, and I thought I'd do all the corals one after another, and at the end do a comparison.

In the bottle they all look pretty much the same, but this one is actually pretty different from the previous one, because first of all it's a jelly, and second of all it's not much of a coral, it's more of a faded pink.

Anyways I love this color, it's very summery, happy color. Makes me smile when I look at my nails.
I also did a gradient on it, because I am starting to love these so much, and they're so easy to do. I used Zoya Sooki.
