Pink Wednesday is back with Esssie Lady Like

It's been a while ha?
As tomorrow I'm going to the office I thought I should change my nail polish into something more work appropriate. So this is what I chose. This is part of the Carry on collection.

There's not much to say, it's just a dusty cream pink.

This was 2 coats:

And another thing I recently bought is a Mac lipstick. I really wanted the Paul&Joe catpaw lipstick in Catwalk but I thought 22€ was a bit too much. So I found this one that was close to it - basically I wanted a coral orangy pink lipstick. I watched some reviews on youtube and this one looked like it was what I was looking for.

So here it is:

And this is the lipstick in action (sorry about the crappy pictures but I've never taken pictures of my face).

I like the lipstick, it's pretty creamy, but the smell ..... leaves a lot to be desired. I think that amongst all the lipsticks I've tried, Mac lipsticks smell the worst. I don't know why all the hype about these. It smells like it's expired, and I've checked, it's not, and it's not the first Mac lipstick I buy and they all smell the same. Maybe it's just me. Do any of you feel this way?

Pink Wednesday - Essie - Bossa Nova

Well two post two days in a row, I must be on a roll.
I had this swatch from before the renovating moving etc.

This is part of the Braziliant collection, and it is a bright cream pink with lots of fuchsia shimmer in it. The shimmer gave it a kind of gritty look, even after the top coat, so I applied another coat, but still nothing. So I guess this is how it is supposed to look

I kinda like this kind of polishes because it's not runny and I find them easy to apply.

So this is two coats and two coats of top coat.

Pink Wednesday - Essie Lion Around & Sally Hansen Set the Stage

For this special day I did this special mani.
I started with two coats of Essie Lion Around the last of my resort polishes, which is a very light shade of pink cream base, with lovely white shimmer, that gives it a kind of frosty look.

By now you all know I am a super fan of Essie polishes and that I love their formula, even the bottles, and the application, etc. So there is no need to rave again about this right?

I topped it off with two coats of Sally Hansen Set the Stage which is a clear base, with small and larger hex golden glitter - oh wow!! I got this in my last swap with Carolina - Thank you!! so much it is one of the prettiest glitters I've ever seen and it goes well with everything!!

So this is what came out- click to enlarge the photos:

Pink Wednesday - Essie Your hut or mine

I remembered!! Yey!! Today is Wednesday and I finally remembered, because I had totally forgotten after getting back from my vacation.

This is a great looking polish, it's a classic with a twist a pink cream with lots of fuchsia shimmer in it, it reminds me of the shimmer in China Glaze's Ahoy! but the final shade had nothing to do with that.

The consistancy is similar to Rescue Beauty Lounge Catherine H.
I applied two easy coats, even though the bottle was a mini, I found the brush manageble.

I also changed the shape of my nails a bit, I was bored of the square so I rounded them up a bit just like Maria from Cult nails shows us - this is the fall trend in nail shape.

Speaking of changes I also changed the blog a bit, I simplified the lay out, in order to be able to post larger images.

Here are the photos:

Pink Wednesday - China Glaze Pool Party

I have been loving pink and orange neons lately. I bought this one just before going on vacation, and now I am sorry I didn't receive it before so I could actually wear this in the pool, I love the way neons look in the water.
I tried some purple neons too, but they are just not so flashy as orange and pink.
So for today, my come back in the world of pink Wednesday I thought I'd post a neon.
This one is a pretty flashy pink, and it took 3 coats to get it this way.
As usual my camera had a major freak out when it laied it's lenses upon this polish, but I guess all cameras do that.
And I also look extra tan in these pictures, but I am not.

Pink Wednesday - Essie - Neo whimsical & Kleancolor Winter Wonderland

Hello Hello!!
Vacation is getting close, I  can't wait. We are going back to my country Romania - I miss it so much every day, and one week in Greece on the isle of Kos I love Greece too!!
So I am super excited, I've been working so hard, and I've had enough of it!!
Today's pink Wednesday is a polish I won in Karen's giveaway - Thank you Karen!!
It's a kind of dusty pink cream. This is two coats. The application is wonderfull as always, and the formula is great too.
The color doesn't suit me that much though. I added a coat of Kleancolor Winter Wonderland on top, which is a white shimmer base with small round multicolored glitter. This is a great polish to layer!! I love love love it, it goes well on any color.
It still stincks but I think this far this is my favorite Kleancolor glitter.
Check out the crappy photos:

Pink Wednesday - Kiko 313

Hello everyone!!
I am so sleepy I don't know if I am too tired, or if I just haven't had enough coffee. I can't concentrate on my work, and I only want to sleep, so I decided to do a post.
And it's Wednesday again!!
I saved this for today it's a gorgeous fuchsia cream pink with some blue hints in it. Or is it just the fact that I am tired that's making me see blue in it. Don't know.
I applied two coats and it looks just perfect. My cuticules were not at their best but now they are doing much better.
I also put on two coats of Kleancolor Chuncky holo purple. It's a bit too much but I think this way you can see the beautiful flecs and the multichrome goodness better.
And bonus a cute photo of Mumu:

Isn't he a cuttie?

Pink Wednesday - OPI - Tropical Punch

And another one from my swap with Carolina, I had this on for about 3 days and it didn't chip, I just had some tip wear.
It's a fuchsia redish colored cream, that becomes opaque in two coats.
Application and formula are great just as OPI has always had, and I guess there's nothing more to say, this is an OPI and that says it all.

Pink Wednesday - Hema Diamond - 12

This is a first for me, a Hema polish!!
These are found in Hema stores, and retail for about 3€, and I find them to be very good quality nail polish. This does not have a name, or I wasn't smart enough to find it on the bottle.
It's a pink base with pink and purple shimmer. It needed 3 coats for opacity but I loved the final look.
I bought two of these, I will show you the other one on another ocasion.
The brush is good, application was easy, no problems there, and formula is similar to the Zoya Sunshine collection.
On top I applied a design from my new Bundle monster plate BM 212 with black Konad polish. I also applied a coar of Sinful Colors Glass Pink and finally came up with this:

Sorry for the crappy pictures we had some rainy days here.
And bonus a photo of Mumu sucking on a boat roap
