Kiko 384

Hey hey!!
I've been really busy lately, but I'm hoping I will get a little free time soon, and do more posts, because I really hate leaving you guys without any new posts.

Today's nailpolish is a new Kiko I got, a really bright blue cream. It was opaque, and the application was excellent just like all the other kikos, and I must say I was pretty impressed with the fact that this one was opaque in one coat, I added another one, because I'm obssesed like that, but a normal person wouldn't have needed it.

The wear is pretty good too, after 4 days I only had some tip wear, and a chip due to my exfoliating nails, not the nailpolish. Some of you who follow me on Instagram must have seen that.

Layla Ceramic Effect n°16

This is one of the nailpolishes that my friend Dora sent me from Italy, and I must say I love it!!

The color is not so flattering on me, but it is such a good quality nailpolish, it lasted for like 4 days on me, without chips or any tipwear, and on the forth day I took it off, because I wanted to change, not because it had suffered an accident, so I reccomend these for sure.

I think that they retail at 7€ in Italy, but I am not sure about that. I have another one of these, and I think it was the same quality.
This is a light gray cream with pink shimmer in it, that comes out nicely in the sunlight.

 It only needed two coats for full coverage, and the application was pretty easy too.

I like the brush too, and it is kind of heavy like the OPI one.

Wow two posts in a row!
The nailpolish of the day is one I won in a giveaway over on Carolina's blog. So thank you Carolina for this wonderfull polish!

It is a jelly baby pink color , with hex large and small silver glitter. The small glitter was easily spreaded on the the nail, but the larger one was a bit hard to capture from the bottle and put on the nail. I applied 3 coats, to get opacity, which is a bit more than I like to put on, so I think that it could work better layered on top of a pink polish. Although in that case you would have less glitter.

Anyways I also did a little stamping using my Bundle Monster plates BM 203 and BM 201 using a Konad polish.

Oh and I also trimmed my nails a bit, I had a little accident, and had to phile them all down.

China Glaze - I'm not lion

Ohhh this is a beauty!!! It's my favourite of all time glitters!! It has made it's way to the top very fast. It is part of the Safari collection, and it was my only choice from it. I couldn't have made a better choice.

This is a beige and holo glitter. The holo comes out in the sunlight so gloriously!!
I applied two coats for full opacity, and it went on smoothly. The application is great, and drying time is so small. The only bad thing about this is that it's a very hungry glitter, I think that not even on my third coat of topcoat the surface was still not smooth.

But when it comes to such a gorgeous polish, I am willing to overlook that.
I did some stamping with my Bundle Monster plate BM 208.

Flormar U234

There's not much to say about this polish, just your basic work appropriate polish. I really don't like it, but I had a meeting, and I couldn't go wearing black.

This is a frosty finish, in a barely orange color, tending a lot toward beige.
It was two coats, and the wear was not teribble, I didn't have any chips, but it wore on the tips pretty quickly.

 I bought this polish on sale in Romania, it cost less than 1€, so it's super good quality for the price I paied. 

Seventeen cosmetics - 509

I don't know if any of you know this brand, but it is a very well known one back home in Romania. The products are good quality and the prices are not that high.

On my summer vacation I brought some stuff from home, and among them was this Seventeen nailpolish. These cost 18 RON there the equivalent of around 4€. The bottles are pretty large 15ml, and they have a huge range of colors. The colors don't have names only numbers. That doesn't bother me that much, as long as the polish is good. And I find these to be very good.

The color I bought is a dark gray with multicolored shimmer. The brush is good, kind of like the Essie brushes, the application was excellent, formula very good, just the right consistancy, and it only took two coats for full coverage.

I stamped on a design from my BM 206 plate with the Kiko 400 that is the holo gray which is by the way very good for stamping.

Gold accent nail with Essie - Bikini so Teeny

Today I am on a relax weekend normally. Because I'm sure that when my husband comes back, he'll have us do something, because he's got not one to sit around on a weekend.

Untill then I am taking advantage and posting this. It's a nail polish I bought in the hope of seeing the pretty shimmer that you see in the bottle, on the nail. It is part of the summer collection I think, and it is a blue lavender cream, with white shimmer inside.

The formula was a bit runny for my taste, but ok, the application is ok, and it only took 2 coats to get opacity. But on the nail the shimmer is not visible, not even in sunlight, you can barely see it if you look very closely.

I love the color, but if it hadn't been for the shimmer, I would probably have not purchased it. Anyway I thought of doing an accent nail, with China Glaze I'm not lion glitter. This is part of the Safari collection, and it was my only choice from that collection. It is a pretty gold and holo glitter. I absolutely love this one, and I think I will do a full mani with this one.

China Glaze - Pink Plumeria

Hello, hello!!
This is the last of the Neon collection 2012, and it was my favourite according to photos I had seen online, but it is no longer my favourite. My new favourite is Under the Boardwalk, a polish, I got just to complete my order!! hahaha!

This is two coats, and even though you can't see it in the photos, it was  very sheer, and I still had VNL. I kind of hate that in a shimmer polish, if it is a simple jelly ok, but with a shimmer it is totally a different story.

It dries matte like a neon, and I liked the color, but it wasn't as intense as I had hoped for. It didn't wear too good either, after 2 days I had some serious tip wear, but no chips, so that's a plus. It is an orangy pink with gold shimmer I would say, I don't know if that is accurate enough.

L'Oreal Rouge pin up

Today I have for you a classic red, there's nothing special about this one, but I love red and always will, and think this is a classic, and goes well with every outfit.

I had to go to a wedding this weekend, so I thought I'd take off my blue L'Oreal and put on something more weddingy!

This was an easy application, and it was opaque in two coats. It is very shinny, and I love this kind of red. It lasted very well for about 5 days, no chips, just some tip wear. The photos are taken before I took it off.

I am very pleased with these polishes. And before I took it off I applied on one hand China Glaze Luxe and Lush, and on the other Max Factor - fantasy Fire.

We are having little sun these days here, so the photos are kind of crap.

L'oreal - Perle de Jade & Easy Nail art

I was at Auchan the other day and saw these on the counter, and also noticed they were 1€ cheaper than in Monoprix, so 6€. I love the bottles and find the colors really pretty so I chose two more.

This one is a mint green cream, really beautiful color, and I find it very summery!
It went on kind of streaky on the first coat, but the second coat fixed everything, and made it opaque.

There is not much else to say about it, I have already reviewed this brand her
I think this color is part of their summer collection, along with some lipglosses, but since I don't really care for lipglosses ( I'm more of a lipstick gal), I bought only this color.

Since I don't have much time on my hands, I thgouht I'd do an easy nail art, with my dotting tools. This is a manicure that's been going around the Polish world. All you need is a dotting tool, or a toothpick, and the nailpolish of your choice.
