Essence - Just rock it!

Yesterday I got inspired by alexa from Addicted to konad to do a dark blue, and as it turns out my only dark blue is an Essence as well. I found it was a bit too thick for my taste, but I only had to apply one coat, although with the flash there are some lines visible. I did not like the brush, it had little hairs that got left behind and kinda messed up my finish line. I don't know if you get what I mean.

Mavala - Mauve Cendré

I must say that I love Maval, all the polishes I have bought until now are super, the colors are great, the texture is great, I like the brush, and it dries off pretty quickly too.
This is a shade that my husband picked for me, I wanted to buy a darker one.
Here are the photos - 2 coats. On the other side my top coat is Mavala too, and I see that it leaves some streaking, or maybe I should wait more to apply it.

Dans un etat d'esprit Noel

I forgot to show you these pictures of a mani I did back when I didn't yet have my new camera. It's OPI Suzi says Feng Shuiwith some eye glitter I don't use for my eyes, from Make up forever. I got this eye glitter as a gift when I bought, some time ago, two eye shadows. I never liked it on my eyes, but I found a good use for it now. I think it came out ok.

Un peu deçue

Finally tried on my Nfu-Oh today, it's number 51. I was disappointed I must say because I expected something else, from the looks of the bottle it looked like a bunch of flecks that shone into different colors red green and violet, but it actually is a violet transparent base with fleck which only appear as red, and rarely green. I tried using it as a top coat on my China Glaze - Agent Lavender but it was really streaky and I didn't like it at all, so I think the best way to use it is on top of a violet cream color or by it's own, but even so it is nothing spectacular. I was expecting something else. Tell me what you think.


I find these two following photos more realistic.
These last two are the ones of it over the Agent Lavender.

China Glaze - Ingrid

The last China Glaze I tried on from my order was Ingrid. I loved it too- but it's normal I chose them all.
It's a sort of dark taupe going towards a brown, with a golden shine. Very easy application, and dries off pretty quickly. I noticed some chipping after doing lot's of dishes. This is two coats. Click to inlarge.

China Glaze - Agent Lavender

Hey you guys, I've been working hard latelly, but I still had the time yesterday to put in an order on transdesign, and in it I put OPI DS extravagance, and 3 CND - one color and two effects. I had been lusting after CND for a while and I discovered in an "Oh, I'm so stupid" moment that Creative is CND! I also received my first Nfu-Oh and I can't wait to swatch it for you.Today I have for you another China Glaze and it is prettyyyyyy!! Lookie

It's a cream polish, applies real smooth and dries off in normal time. So this is super ok in my book.

Everybody is releasing Crackles

It's China Glaze's turn, in february 2011 they will release 6 crackle shades :Black Mesh (black crackle), Lightening Bolt (white crackle), Broken Hearted (pink crackle), Cracked Concrete (grey crackle), Crushed Candy (teal crackle) and Fault Line (purple crackle). Can't wait!!!

China Glaze - Bare if you dare

You're going to have to excuse my nasty cuticles but haven't had the time to trim them. Here's China Glaze's Bare if you dare who looks very good on my nails, but I just couldn't take a decent picture of it, to show it's great beauty. It's orange with golden shimmer. This is 2 coats



And a Mumu picture. I just thought he was really cute in this one.

China Glaze - Atlantis

This is a clear green base with silver glitter in it. It is really lovely to look at, but as it has lots of glitter it is kinda scratchy but I really liked it. Of course it's veryyyyyy hard to remove, so if you don't want to damn the day you bought it use a special remover. I almost forgot to tell you that this polish dries off awfully fast, I couldn't believe it, I thought that with all the big flakes in it it would take ages to dry but no, this is 3 coats and dried off super fast.


This is with the matte finish but it didn't come out so nice, it just took out all the shine in the glitter which is the charm of this polish.
It started snowing again here, it fell for a few good hours and big dense flakes.
