Rimmel Lemon drop + gradient

What is up everyone?
I did another mani with one of the Rimmels I got from a friend and I wasn't as pleased with this one as I was with the other 3.

This is a light yellow cream, that did not apply very well, it was all streaky even on the second coat, so I gad to put on three.

I did a gradient too using on top Zoya Mira, the thing is that after half a day it started to wear bad, so that's why my nail tips look so beat up on the gradient photo.

SO I really wouldn't recommend buying this polish, on top of the nasty application it wears really bad. So it's really a no go for me.

Carlo di Roma nail polish n°03

Hey hey, heyy!!
I've been really busy!! Went in 3 different cities this week, so I am beat.

Quick update on the contest: everything is going well, voting continues untill the 15th of july. Hope you all get a chance to vote.

Now onto the nail polish, it is a brand I haven't heard of, I got here at the market for like 1€, and I guess for that price it's not a bad deal.

I had to apply 3 coats because it wouldn't become opaque, but I did it finally. It chipped in two days, but hey what did I expect for 1€???

Othewise it's a very pretty pink cream, and it shines nicely.
What do you think? Do you own any of these?

Estee Lauder - Molten Lava

This is a nail polish I saw at Sephora and immediately got my attention, I think it is a new addition to their range, but I don't know if this is a limited edition or it will become a part of their normal range.

Anyways this is a dark indigo cream, just packed with the most gorgeous copper shimmer. I loved it soo much in the bottle and on the nail it is as gorgeous. It is almost a one coater, the formula is thick but easy to work with, and the brush is excellent. I finally applied two coats because you know me.

I love the bottle, but I find it too large for a polish hoarder like me, otherwise it's very pretty, and classy. I only have one other Estee Lauder nail polish, not because of the bottle but because I find their shades a bit boring in general.

It's not as black as you see it in my photos, it's more on the dark violet side, but because of the light I couldn't get it just right. And I've heard this resembles RBL Piu Mosso, but I don't have that one for comparison, since delivery in France is obscenely overpriced.

Some Rimmel spam

Some friends of mine came over last week, and they came baring gifts - some Rimmel polishes from back home. I am really enjoying each and every one of them. They are really pretty!

First of all I've noticed that they are all opaque in two coats, and that they don't chip, but I did notice a fair amount of tip wear. They dry pretty quickly and the brush is good too.

Now let's get on to the colors.
Hot shot is the first one I tried, it's an almost neon pink cream. It applies like a cream but it looks a lot like a neon. I loved this color, and it was the first one I chose to try because I liked it the most.

The second color soon became my new favourite. Wine not is a beautiful wine red cream.

And once I thought I was done, I tried Misty Jade and it became my favourite. It's a pretty almost neon green, but it finishes as a cream. I seriously love all three of these and thank my friends for getting these for me. Thank you Mirela & Ange!!

I have two more of these to try out and can't wait.

Flormar 227 + Konad

I haven't done any Konad stamping in a while, so I decided to wip out my Bundle Monster plates and chose a model. I wore this Flormar to work on monday, and I thought it was really too boring to wear on it's own.

It's a jelly nail polish, with a white almost invisible shimmer in it. I had to apply 3 coats to get it looking this way and it still has VNL, but some of you like it this way.

On top I applied a design from my BM 204 plate, with a blue Konad polish.
It kinda streaked when I put on top coat and that shows in the photos. And my cuticules are still dry as sand, don't know why, I am moisturising every day like crazy.

*****Oh and don't forget about the contest - you still have a few more days untill it's over.

Layla Ceramic Effect n°11

This was a gift from my friend Dora in Italy for my birthday. I can't get Layla here, so I asked her if she could get some for me, and she kindly did. So thank you so much Dora!!

This is a violet grey with copper shimmer inside. I'm afraid the copper shimmer is visible only in the sunlight, and as you know we've been very low on sunshine over here lately.

Application was flawless, the bottle is the same size as Kikos - 10 ml, they are sold for 7€ in Italy. The cap is heavy, and the brush is flat, a bit like the OPI, so for me these are pluses, I love when the cap is heavy makes the application easier.

Overall I love this brand and I think it easily compares to the big brands outhere. Sorry about the messy cuticules, still having some problems with those.

Don't forget about the contest. You still have until end of june to submit you gradient mani photos.

I applied two coats. What do you think do you own any Layla?

Sally Hansen Prisms

Another polish I bought from Danielle's blog sale, and I don't know what name this has. Maybe she will help me this time with the name too.

It's a pink holo polish, it's not linear holo, but it's holo enough. I applied two coats of this to obtain opacity.
I loved the way it looked in the sunlight but unfortunately the weather has been totally crap the last month.

Here are the photos: What do you think?
*UPDATE: Danielle says it's Ruby Diamond

OPI - Number one Nemesis

Today I have for you a polish from the Spiderman collection from OPI. I don't really like all the other polishes, I didn't even like this one that much, but I was in NY, and saw it and thought it might be a bit unique but it's not. The other polishes in this collection were a bit "been there done that" - I mean how many Chanel Peridot dupes do we have to have?

Anyways this is a very sheer polish, so it needed three coats, and even then I still felt like it was a bit see through. This is a dark grey-green jelly base packed with gold shimmer I think.

The application was a bit rough too, I don't know why.
I also added an accent nail in OPI- Save me!
