Pink Wednesday - OPI- Hoo doo voo doo

Hey everybody!!
I have had a hectic day, I am super pissed, because my tax declaration was lost, and I have to redo them, which is super ennoying because I have to go back to the tax centre and pick new ones up. I was planning on doing that today, but my boss kept me so busy that I just didn't have the time. He than gently let me know that tomorrow I was going on a business trip, and therefore don't have the time to do it tomorrow either. And also tomorrow I was supposed to go sign the papers for our new appartement, because my husband doesn't have the time. So now everything must be reported.
I am so freking mad!!*
I've had enough of this sucky job!!
So onto to the polish. Sorry about the photos, I took them with another camera, which obviously sucks....
This is a great polish, I had no chips after 3 days, and no tip wear either.
I did 2 coats and it was opaque. Application and formula were just perfect as for all other OPIs.

It's a kind of dark fuchsia cream so that's why I thought it would go well on pink wednesday.

Catrice - Sold out forever

Hey everybody!!
My second Catrice, and as I've seen on the blogosphere quite a popular choice for lots of you, but I actually picked it up not knowing this was Sold out forever.
It's a green cream base, with small green shimmer. The shimmer is hardly visible but it's there, and I hope I did a good job on the photos so you too can spot it.
The application was great, and the formula is great too, it's a bit liquid but I like it.
I just got my package back from Cristina - I sent her some of the Touring America polishes so she could try them out, and she sent them back last week, along with some other goodies - like chocolate, two beautiful rings, some weird candy, some new naipolishes and a book about cats prechewed by her rabbit.

Essence twins - Chuck & Blair

Since yesterday I promised you photos with the stuff I bought in London here are they:

And today's polishes are another pair of the twins Chuck & Blair

Chuck is the cream one, a dark blue one and Blair is a glitter polish, it's got small holographic ones, larger hexagonal silver ones.

For the cream I applied two coats, one would have been enough but you know me. Application was good.

The glitter is in only one coat this time.

China Glaze - Cha cha cha

Hey guys!!
Sorry about the lack of posts since friday. I was away on a long weekend in London, for the marriage of a friend of ours, who lives there. I loved London!! It's such a beautiful city, with the chic houses with the colomns. We staied at a hotel in Notting Hill and it was just in a street full of little shops that sold antiquities, a little cupcake shop and a lot of cafés.
We went out to a club after the wedding and I saw the centre of London at night, it was as populated at  3 a.m. as in the middle of the day.
We took a tour of the city in one of those duble decker buses. We had one sunny day and two with lots of rain, but it was ok. We ate at a pub a big burger with chips (this is how they call fries).
Everybody there says Cheers! all the time, don't know why, even the steward said this to me as I boarded the plain.
I bought an excellent miniature Volkswagen car just like the one that Kelso has in That 70's show - I don't know if that show has any fans among you guys. Now I am super tired, and don't have time to show you pictures, but I will take some tomorow of the things I brought back and post them. I also bought two Barry M polishes, one Topshop necklace which is just so cute - the pendant is a wishbone -  and an Andrea Fullerton polish.
And so I can show you some polish pictures, since this is a polish blog, today I have for you the green polish from the Island Escape collection.
It's a green jelly base, full of gorgeous green shimmer. It was opaque in two coats, and the formula was just like on the other ones, it's a bit runny but nothing I can't handle. The application was ok too, the first coat is very transparent, you think that you are going to need many coats to get full opacity, but actually two is enough.

Pink Wednesday - Catrice - Let's mauve on

My first Catrice!! yey!! I finally did it, I tried one of my Catrices and I must say I am impressed!! The formula is great, it's kind of gloopy but it is easy to work with, and the application is easy because the brush is wide and flat  just like I like 'em!
Great news everyon, I bougt a light bulb today, that simultates natural day light, and I must say I am impresse, I love that know even though we are having the crappiest weather, I can take great pictures of my nails.
Someone said in the suggestion part of my giveaway that my photos were too dark, and that she couldn't tell the colour of the polish properly, and she is right, so I hope that this way I have remedied the problem
Back to the polish, I know its name suggests that it's not pink, but I find it pink so this is why it's here today.
This polish is a pink cream packed with small white shimmer, it gives it a kind of frosty look! click to enlarge so you can see.
I have applied two coats.
Please let me know what you think of the pictures, do you find them brighter, or better in any way than my previous pictures?

Essie - Bright tights

This is what I wore for two days on my long weekend, and to the pool where I went with my friends from back home. This is such a fun color, and it looked awesome in the water, it's defenitly a beach color, and I couldn't stop looking at my nails while I was wearing it.
This is an orange neon, and as you may know neons are difficult to apply and they dry matte. They also need more coats than creams, and dry faster too.
So this is 4 coats, but it dried super fast, and no shrinkage with Seche vite.
I am going to wear this more often, maybe on y vacation this summer.

Misa - Krystal Water

The other polish I bought from Misa's summer collection which by the way is very similar to the China Glaze Island escape, is this one a blue jelly base with lots of turquoise shimmer.
I found that the China Glazes needed only two coats for opacity, and the Misa needed 3. Another thing I don't like about the Misas is that it shrinks when I apply my Seche vite, and it looks like horendous tip ware.
So this is 3 coats and I didn't like it so much on my skin because it makes my hands look like zombie hands.

Pink Wednesday - Nicole by OPI - Miss Independent

So this is going to be another quick one. I am having the busiest week, I've been working like crazy, and don't have any time left for anything else.
So this one is a light pink foil, it looks a bit silver and a bit pink.
This was 3 coats, and application was a bit tricky. I don't quite like the brush on this one, it's the new perfect stroke brush. Aside from that, I just love the look of this polis. It's one of the polishes you sent me Carolina !! So thanxs.
Formula is just great, and it looks almost like Minx. Sorry about the crappy pictures, I am planning on getting a lamp, to take better photos.
