China Glaze - Life preserver

I changed my mind, this is my favorite of the collection, I know I've said that about Ahoy!!, but now I actually think I like this better.
Looks great on my skin tone too. I'm not bragging I'm just excited.
The formula is great just like on the other ones. It's a cream dark orange, I love love love it, even though I've been more into shimmers lately.
Here are the photos, two coats and top coat - click to enlarge.

CND- Red hot set

I ordered this along with the 7 China Glaze Anchors Away polishes. It is their release for Valentine's day. It's super great. The set has a cream red, called Just Red, and the effect is red glitter in a transparent base called Red Sparkle.
I applied two coats of the color since one didn't seem like enough to me, but it works with one as well, and the effect on top. I got a great red similar to Essie's Ruby slippers.
The wear isn't great, as I got tip wear at the end of the day, but I guess that's because of the fact that I applied too many layers, as I also put on top coat.

China Glaze - Ahoy!

Definitely my favorite of the collection so far, I've worn it for two days, which I haven't done with a nail polish in a long time, I change my nails polish on a regular daily basis.
But this was too gorgeous to take off after just one day.
It's a red cream base with pink shimmer. It's opaque in two coats, and in the light you get the prettiest pink shimmer. And as I've said before, this collection dries off super fast. Even with my revlon top coat - which usually doesn't work as well.
On the second day I put on a third coat, but it didn't change the appearance of the polish, so I didn't take any photos. What I did notice is a little tip wear at the end of the first day as you can see in the photos, but no chipping. Here are the photos - click to enlarge. My photos don't do this color justice.

Cristina does nails - Zoya Gwin

My guest is back with something smashing - in my opinion.
Here is what she had to say

"This is my only orange polish, and because I like it so much I think I’ll get several more oranges :)

Indeed, this is a gorgeous warm orange, with beautiful gold shimmer. The result is absolutely fabulous.

I tried to show you in the pictures this great, great gold shimmer that makes it glow like no other!

The finish is a little matte, here I used 1 coat of Mavala MavaDry, and this makes it shiny as I would like it to be. But, I don’t mind, I’m using top coat anyway.

The formula is quite streaky, but an expert hand can tame it very easily, and will get full and even coverage within 2 coats.

I think it’s a very beautiful orange and I’m sure I’m going to wear this a lot, especially in the summer. This polish “screams” for the sun (the gold shimmer can be observed in its whole splendour only by daylight and especially in direct sunlight) and warm days… I decided to wear this today as I’d like these days to hear the “scream” of my polish and get their warm asses here sooner and faster..(humm…please!)! :)

Two coats and one top coat of Mava-dry"

China Glaze - Sunset sail

The second polish I tried from the Anchors away collection is Sunset Sail - It's really pretty also, and very work appropriate- let's say.
The formula is great on this collection, so far all of them dried off super fast, and were two coatters.
I've been trying to make a lightbox so I could take more luminous pictures of my hand, since all my pictures look like they were taken in a cave. But I just can't get it right, so until I do so you will have to bare with me through the cave pictures, also because of the weather we are having here - no sun always cloudy.
I would describe this color as a cream beige with white shimmer inside.
So here are the photos - click to inlarge so you can see the shimmer

China Glaze - Knotty

I was waiting for the new China glaze collection to come out, because it seemed like all the colors where just great. So I ordered seven of them on www.transdesign.com, and they are everything I hoped for. First up is Knotty I would describe it as a cream base with white shimmer. I found it to be whimsical.
In these photos I have two coats on - I thought it was enough - even though you can see the white of the nail a bit, that doesn't bother me with colors like this, since it is so light.

Sephora vernis dont je connais pas le nom

Heyy everybody!!
I did this swatch a while ago, but did not post it because I couldn't find the name. I still haven't founf it, but I know it's a white sort of jelly. As you can see it is not perfectly opaque in two coats, but there is no streaking.
I like the way it look on my nails. This is the only white I own.

Sinful colors - See you soon

I have for you today another Sinful colors polish, I've become a real fan of these. Good quality nail polish, on a budget.
This is a black jelly base with dark blue shimmer.
It's opaque in two coats, and dries off super fast by the way, I think I forgot to mention this about the one from yesterday.
This one kind of looks like OPI's - Cuckoo for this color.
Here are the photos

These are the comparisons photos.
On the index finger - Sinful colors
On the middle finger - OPI
As you can see the opi has a lighter base, and the shimmer is more to the green side than The sinful colors. But anyways they are both superbe.

Sinful Colors - Lets meet

On our recent visit to my in laws, I went by Lafayette's and found out that they sell Sinful Colors for a wapping 6 € but, still cheaper than OPI for example, so I bought two, to see how they were and test them out.
This one is a yellow shimmer, I put on two coats, my husband said that it could use another one, but I think it looks ok this way.
I am usually not a fan of yellows, but I thought this one looked ok on me.
I added a design from my m78 plate, and then a top coat of Essence Glisten up!
Oh and by the way I found the brush to be quite good, it's not better than OPI, but definitelly better than other polishes.

Cristina does nails - Zoya - Charla

This weekend we went to visit my in laws so I woun't really have the time to post. But luckily I received a review from Cristina. She got an order of polishes yesterday, and she loved one of them so much that she decided to do a review. Here it is:

"The « WOW » thing

In my last review of Opi’s Dulce de Leche I was saying about it that even though it was a nice polish, it wasn’t a “WOW” thing to me.

But now I’ve got it, I’ve found the “WOW” thing! And it’s got a name, of course! :D

So, beautiful people, meet Zoya Charla! Zoya Charla, meet Ruxi and her nice followers (your future adorers :D )

I have to say that I was completely charmed by this polish. I ordered it because I thought it was really nice in the bloggers’ review pictures. But now that I have it in (and on!) my hands... It’s... It’s love at first sight! The only less flattering thing about it is that it’s a little sheer. BUT, honestly, I think I’ll never wear this polish during day time. It’s so wonderful, and so incredibly sparkling, such precious colour! Can’t-get-my-eyes-off-my-nails kind of polish! But I’d only wear it for evening/night going outs, and by night, with artificial light and everything, you can’t really tell a totally opaque polish from a bit sheer one.

It has turquoise blue base with gold, turquoise and greenish tiny glitter, swimming gracefully inside it. I would too, you know, if were a little glitter inside this polish! ;)

Here are the pictures, sunlight (2 coats of Zoya Charla and 1 coat of Mavala MavaDry):"

If you are wondering this is her bunny. She has a bunny rabbit called Ghitu.
"I can only say one word: WOW!! :D "
